This exquisite red coral sculpture depicts the beloved Chinese goddess of mercy, Kwan Yin, accompanied by a young boy. Both figures are elegantly dressed in traditional Chinese attire, with delicate folds and intricate details that demonstrate the skill and precision of the artist. Kwan Yin is holding a ball in her left hand. She has a serene expression on her face, and her gentle demeanor is perfectly captured in the naturalistic carving.

The young boy is positioned on the left side of Kwan Yin, and is holding a fan in his left hand. He is also dressed in traditional Chinese clothing, and his playful expression suggests that he is enjoying his time with the goddess. The entire scene is expertly carved from a single piece of red coral, with stunning attention to detail that make this sculpture a true masterpiece.
