History & description
Museum Collection _ Not For Sale
Two noble ladies, dressed in the finest silks, stand with a sense of regal poise. One of them carries a vase of the most stunning camellias on her left shoulder. The other lady, sitting beside her, plays a soothing melody on her bamboo flute to match her companion lady, filling the air with tranquil notes and balance.
Their hair is styled in a manner befitting their status, adorned with feather hairpins in the shape of the majestic phoenix bird. The ladies are accompanied by two phoenix birds, their fiery plumage a sight to behold. The birds and the ladies stand atop a bed of lotus blossoms, adding to the peaceful atmosphere of the scene. As you admire the sculpture, you can almost hear the soft rustling of the silk scarfs, the gentle sound of the flute, and the subtle fragrance of the camellias and lotus blossoms.
